No, I haven’t. He didn’t respond to me checking in on him this morning either. I’ve been tied up with work but I was meaning to stop by his place afterwards.

I'd prefer it if he were just ignoring me, but Merta said he wasn't at work this morning.

Did he let her know he wouldn’t be in? Him just not showing up doesn’t sound like him at all.

No. She'd wanted to know if I knew any reason why he'd have taken the day off without notice, but I can't think of one.

At least, none that he mentioned to me.
