Maybe you should try going with it for awhile. See how you feel. The fact he reciprocates your feelings makes me a little less leery. I had been concerned you would be pining for him while he really didn't have deeper feelings involved.

he got here a little while ago. he looks like a slightly less hot dirk. i think they're more like clones or something, i dunno. dirk doesn't really talk about him.

So it's not like my situation at all then except for it involving three people. All three of us are in love with each other in equal measure, and the first time we slept together all three of us were involved.

you had a bit of an adjustment period, as i recall. but ok not the same.

dirk is a lot colder. dave reminds me a lot of guys i know back home, all dick jokes and acting cool.

ok so john's in love with dave, they've been best friends for years.

so i guess dave and john talked, and they like each other. but john doesn't want to give me up. so.

I’m not 100% convinced you won’t end up doing stuff with this Strider too. That’s the kind of mess that just attracts you like a pied piper.

I’m still wary with that troll in the mix. Everyone involved should be on the same page in a situation like this.

But … I get the feeling it would cause you pain to just drop him. So you may as well try it out for awhile.

as far as he's concerned dave is still with him back home, it's not like he vanished. and if he shows up here, he'd probably wanna kill john and not me.
altho trolls have very complex relationship structures so i actually doubt it.
